Full mouth rehabilitation (otherwise known as reconstruction or restoration) involves restoring all the teeth in both the upper and lower jaws. It typically involves general or restorative treatments such as crowns, bridges and veneers, and can incorporate the work of dental specialists such as oral surgeons, periodontists (who specialise in gum treatment), orthodontists (who specialise in teeth straightening) and endodontists (who specialise in root canal therapy).

Why might I need full mouth rehabilitation?

  • You have lost teeth due to decay or trauma.
  • You have fractured or injured teeth.
  • Your teeth have suffered from erosion due to long-term exposure to acidic food and drink, acid reflux or tooth grinding.
  • You have frequent jaw and muscle pain and headaches due to a misaligned bite.
